South Yorkshire Housing Association is seeking a committed Key Worker for the Lister Project, a CQC-registered recovery residential mental health service in England. The role involves helping adults build daily living skills, take part in activities, and grow confidence to live more independently.

The post operates on a 37-hour rota including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Experience with vulnerable people and strong communication are essential; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Understanding of individual support needs and how to manage risk positively during recovery
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to use a wide range of digital software
• Strong organisational and observational skills

Responsabilités

• Support people with daily living skills
• Provide activities that help people reach their goals, build confidence and enhance social skills
• Support people with personal care, including administering medication
• Support people to gain the individual skills needed to live more independent lives
• Encourage and approach people warmly to help them achieve their goals and aspirations
