Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Worker for the Redcar and Cleveland Supported Housing service. This 22-hour-per-week role involves rota-based shifts including sleepovers and weekends, delivering person-centred support to adults with mental health challenges.

You will help individuals develop skills, manage tenancy, finances and access community opportunities while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with professionals.

Qualifications

• Ability to build trusting relationships with adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
• Strong communication and listening skills; non-judgemental approach.
• Willingness to work as part of a rota including sleepovers and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to promote recovery, wellbeing and independence.
• Support tenancy management, including budgeting and finances.
• Help develop daily living skills and access community services.
• Maintain records and contribute to support planning.
• Attend rota shifts including sleepovers, weekends and on-call duties.
