Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an Activity Co-ordinator to support wards with social and therapeutic activities. You will help service users regain confidence and work within the Recovery pathway, collaborating with Nursing and Occupational Therapy teams.

The role emphasises meaningful activity, social inclusion, and community re-integration, with training and Care Certificate support provided within 12 weeks where applicable.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to plan and deliver group and individual activities.
• Support service users to engage in meaningful activity.
• Facilitate activities that promote social inclusion and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meaningful group and activity sessions for service users.
• Develop activities with individuals and support engagement.
• Offer group-based sessions focusing on skills, social inclusion, and recovery.
• Work alongside Nursing and Occupational Therapy teams.
• Provide support to help service users regain confidence for community re-integration.
• Inspire hope that recovery is possible for others.
• Promote information sharing to support choice and community connection.
