Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust seeks a dedicated Support Time and Recovery Worker for Atherleigh Park Hospital. You will plan and deliver a range of therapeutic, wellbeing and social activities to support patient recovery, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote discharge.

You will work on Adult and Older Person wards including an ICU, with a seven-day rota between 08:00 and 20:00, ensuring patient-centred, recovery-based activities and safe practice in

Qualifications

Under supervision, plan and coordinate a range of individual and group activities to meet service users’ needs.
Demonstrate initiative when working independently on wards and report progress to a qualified practitioner.
Record findings in electronic care records.
Demonstrate an attitude that respects and values service users and their carers.
Embrace the organisation’s core values and the Recovery principles, promoting safe practice and meaningful choice.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and implement activities to meet service users’ needs.
Work independently on wards and report any clinical progress to a qualified practitioner.
Record observations in electronic care records.
Contribute to a rota operating 7 days a week between 08:00 and 20:00.
