Job summary

Change Grow Live in Worthing is seeking a Programme/Groupwork Facilitator to deliver group work programmes within the West Sussex Drug and Alcohol Wellbeing Network. You’ll record information, handle paperwork, and enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds to make a meaningful difference.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a permanent contract. You’ll work flexibly in a supportive team, with comprehensive training, a contributory pension and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience of running group sessions and managing group dynamics
• Ability to identify the needs of groups and tailor interventions
• Knowledge of CBT and REBT in recovery work
• Experience with Motivational Interviewing and psychosocial interventions
• Experience addressing cravings and triggers in substance use
• Careful recording and data entry in a professional setting

Responsibilities

• Provide core psychosocial interventions relevant to drug and alcohol recovery, including 1:1 key work and group-based work
• Participate in multidisciplinary assessments, risk management and planning using trauma-informed approaches
• Collaborate with prescribing and clinical colleagues to support specialist interventions
• Support onward referral to treatment and community services
