Job summary

Change Grow Live in West Sussex is seeking a Senior Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users with complex needs, ensuring timely access to the right interventions and a recovery-focused plan.

You will manage a caseload, deliver tailored interventions and collaborate with partner organisations to expand recovery resources, supporting social reintegration and self-determination.

Qualifications

• Experience in drug and alcohol services or related field.
• Substance misuse experience desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; IT skills required.
• Proactive, able to work independently with strong time management.
• Solid understanding of mental health interventions and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide unwavering support to service users from initial contact through recovery.
• Manage a caseload of complex service users with high needs.
• Carry out screening, assessment, and recovery planning; refer onward as needed.
• Deliver tailored interventions in group or 1:1 settings to reduce harm from opiate use.
• Develop comprehensive recovery plans including pre-detox prep and post-care support.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to extend recovery resources and refer to mutual aid groups.
• Advocate for service users and involve families and communities where appropriate.
• Support social reintegration and promote recovery, resilience and self-determination.
