Job summary

Change Grow Live in Wisbech is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage service users, ensuring access to the right intervention at the right time. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support those with drug and/or alcohol issues.

The role involves facilitating groups/pods, planning recovery journeys, and coordinating with partner services to maximise positive outcomes for service users.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse and experience in a similar field.
• Experience with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Work with service users to support social reintegration and recovery.
• Design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/pods.
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery.
• Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods.
