Job summary

Waythrough is recruiting a Recovery Coordinator to deliver collaborative recovery planning and case management for people with substance misuse across all recovery stages. You will manage a caseload, update risk and safeguarding plans, and work within a multi-disciplinary team to support individuals in their recovery journey.

You will lead on psychosocial interventions, collaborate with colleagues, and help reduce harm to families while ensuring safeguarding guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience applying harm reduction approaches in substance misuse care.
• Ability to develop recovery plans and risk management plans.
• Experience with case management in mental health or substance misuse.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of service users and update risk assessments and safeguarding plans.
• Collaborate with MDT colleagues and document reports for managers and reviews.
• Support family involvement and reduce harm to children and carers where relevant.
• Develop and deliver psychosocial interventions and group/one-to-one programs.
• Identify safeguarding risks and coordinate with safeguarding authorities as needed.
• Support addiction services activities such as drug screening and BBV testing.
