Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to manage a caseload from initial assessment through to sustained recovery in County Durham. You will work with service users, families and partner agencies to set goals and support safer, healthier futures.

The role requires empathy, strong organisational and IT skills, and a commitment to safeguarding. You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to meaningful community outcomes.

Qualifications

• You will manage your own caseload and develop recovery plans.
• Engage with service users, families and partner agencies to support recovery.
• Demonstrate safeguarding and confidential handling of information.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and develop, deliver and review individual recovery plans.
• Complete triage, screening and comprehensive assessments.
• Carry out risk assessments, safeguarding plans and ongoing case management.
• Deliver one-to-one and group-based psychosocial interventions.
• Support harm reduction activities, including drug screening and BBV testing.
• Work with partner agencies to coordinate support and services.
• Connect individuals with treatment and community resources.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce clear reports.
