Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to join our team in South Shields. You will manage a caseload across all stages of recovery, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and implement recovery support and risk management strategies.

You will deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions and reports to managers, aiming to reduce harms and improve family involvement. This role emphasizes safeguarding and collaboration within a dynamic service environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of harm reduction approaches in relation to substance misuse.
• Ability to implement interventions including brief interventions MI, PSIs, CBT and ITEP.
• Carrying out assessment and recovery planning and risk management plans.

Responsabilités

• Manage a caseload of service users, reviewing ongoing processes such as risk assessments and safeguarding plans.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and provide reports to managers and colleagues.
• Improve outcomes by reducing drug and alcohol harm and promoting family involvement in recovery.
• Develop and deliver quality programs and psychosocial interventions across group and one-to-one formats.
• Identify potential harm and follow safeguarding guidelines, including referrals to safeguarding authorities and participation in duty work.
