Job summary

Way Through is seeking an OTC/POM Recovery Coordinator to manage a caseload of 25–30 people with prescription and OTC dependence. You will assess needs, develop personalised recovery and treatment plans, and deliver regular one-to-one sessions both face-to-face and remotely.

Collaborating with GPs, pharmacies and mental health teams, you will support safe medication reduction and harm reduction. A health/social care qualification is preferred and a compassionate, recovery-focused approach is

Qualifications

• Experience in substance misuse, mental health, healthcare or social care settings.
• Experience managing a caseload and delivering person-centred support.
• Compassionate, non-judgemental and recovery-focused approach.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with people in complex situations.
• Understanding of safeguarding and risk management when working with adults.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 25–30 people with prescription/OTC dependency.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised recovery plans.
• Deliver one-to-one keyworking sessions face-to-face and remote.
• Review progress, risks and outcomes and adapt support accordingly.
• Coordinate care with GPs, pharmacies, and health teams to ensure joined-up support.
