Job summary

Waythrough in Leeds is seeking a compassionate Recovery Worker to support people affected by alcohol and/or non-opiate substance use. You will manage a caseload, developing, implementing and reviewing personalised recovery and treatment plans to meet individual needs.

You will deliver 1:1 psychosocial interventions, brief interventions and holistic care planning to reduce harm and enable sustainable positive change.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker with interest in mental health and substance use.
• Experience or training in psychosocial approaches is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teams and partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of individuals affected by alcohol and/or non-opiate substances; develop and review personalised recovery plans.
• Deliver 1:1 psychosocial interventions and brief interventions.
• Complete care planning and risk assessment/management.
• Take a holistic approach to ensure care packages support wellbeing.
• Collaborate with partners across the city to achieve positive health outcomes.
