Job summary

Belmont Recruitment seeks a Recovery Coordinator to join a fast-paced Substance Misuse Service in Blackpool. The role involves building supportive relationships, managing risk, and guiding clients toward long-term stability.

You will coordinate OST pathways with clinicians, educate service users on harm reduction and Naloxone, and lead BBV screening with a focus on Hepatitis C treatment linkage, alongside alcohol therapies and psychosocial support.

Qualifications

• Background in substance misuse or related support work.
• Enhanced DBS is required.
• Right to Work.

Responsibilities

• Build supportive relationships and manage risk assessments for a dedicated caseload.
• Coordinate OST pathways with prescribing clinicians.
• Educate service users on harm reduction, safe usage practices, and Naloxone availability.
• Facilitate BBV screening, with emphasis on Hepatitis C testing and linkage to treatment.
• Implement evidence-based alcohol therapies and psychosocial support.
• Coordinate multi-agency care plans addressing wider social needs.
