Job summary

Big Mamma Group is seeking a Reception Supervisor in the UK to lead our front-of-house team, deliver a warm, professional welcome and seamless guest experience, and uphold brand standards across venues.

You’ll manage bookings with SevenRooms, onboard new hosts, schedule rosters, resolve issues, and maintain health and safety. Flexible evenings and weekends required; permanent, full-time contract.

Qualifications

• Head host/hostess or reception supervisor experience required.
• Experience with SevenRooms platform.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the host team, maintaining high standards and ensuring a warm, professional guest welcome.
• Resolve or escalate issues and complaints as needed.
• Manage bookings and enquiries using SevenRooms.
• Onboard and train new hosts and support rostering with floor managers.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and health & safety across the floor.
• Create memorable guest moments with a friendly, proactive attitude.

We’re now looking for a Reception Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team!

The role

As a Reception Supervisor at Big Mamma, you’ll be the perfect example of our brand, ensuring every guest receives a warm, professional welcome and a seamless experience.

• Lead the host team, maintaining high standards and maximising bookings
• Resolve or elevate issues and complaints when needed
• Manage bookings and enquiries using SevenRooms
• Onboard and train new hosts, supporting floor managers with rota scheduling
• Solve problems proactively when bookings or service don’t go as plannedMaintain cleanliness, organisation and health & safety standards across the floor
• Create memorable moments for guests with a warm, friendly and professional attitude

About You

• Big smile and passion for Italian food
• High energy, proactive attitude and team spirit
• Excellent customer service, leadership and communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of floor operations
• Previous experience as a head host/hostess or reception supervisor
• Previous experience with SevenRooms
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
