Vets Now Milton Keynes is seeking a Part Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our emergency care team. You will be the first point of contact for clients in urgent situations, greet clients, answer calls, book appointments and process payments, while keeping the service running smoothly.

Role Responsibilities

• First point of contact:
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits. Including greeting all clients, answering calls, and booking appointments as well as handling financial transactions.
• Administration:
  • Manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
  • Providing updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
• Client Support:
  • Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Working pattern

Role 1

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 19:00 to 00:00, Saturday from 12:00 to 19:00 and Sunday from 09:00 to 19:00

Week 2: Thursday from 19:00 to 00:00

Week 3: Off

Week 4: Off

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
