Job summary

Holiday Inn Manchester City Centre is seeking a friendly Receptionist to deliver outstanding guest service at a busy city center hotel. You will greet guests, manage check-ins/outs, and handle payments with accuracy while representing the brand’s standards.

You will also resolve guest concerns professionally, collaborate with departments for a seamless stay, promote the loyalty program, and identify opportunities to upsell services, contributing to a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel reception experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and bank holidays.
• Professional and welcoming appearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm welcome and exceed guest expectations.
• Check guests in and out using Opera PMS.
• Process guest charges and payments per policy.
• Handle guest complaints calmly and empathetically.
• Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless stays.
• Promote IHG Rewards Club loyalty program.
• Upsell opportunities to generate revenue.
• Perform reservation arrival checks.
