Job summary

Nuffield Health Wolverhampton Hospital is seeking a friendly Receptionist on a bank/ad-hoc basis to join our front desk team. This part-time role offers £12.84 per hour and requires you to help visitors, answer calls, book appointments and direct patients to the right areas.

You will work with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly, provide empathetic customer service, and support with clinical paperwork as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior reception or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to remain calm and empathetic under pressure.

Receptionist Wolverhampton Hospital | Customer | Bank | Part Time | £12.84 per hour

Hospital opening hours Monday - Friday 07:00am-20:00pm Saturday 07:00-15:00. Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability. As a Receptionist, you will:

• Help people feel comfortable when they visit your department
• Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships
• Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book appointments
• Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly
• Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions
