Job summary

Hereford Hospital is seeking a Receptionist on a permanent, part-time basis. You will greet members and visitors with warmth, handle enquiries and provide excellent customer service in a friendly, professional environment.

Shifts are early and late, totaling 14 hours per week, with occasional weekend work. The role includes general admin tasks, taking payments, and maintaining accurate records using the hospital systems.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills, face-to-face and on the phone.
• Ability to deliver friendly, professional customer service.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the smooth running of the reception area.

• Take payments and reconcile takings daily.

• Support the smooth running of our reception area.
• Help us create a friendly, relaxing and professional environment.
• Provide exceptional and efficient customer service to everyone who visits our hospital.
• Give a warm welcome, answering queries in a caring and helpful way, making sure everyone feels valued.
• Providing with any general admin support such as dealing with enquiries and making appointments.
• To take payments from patients in accordance with set procedures, processing payments using appropriate processes and systems, and reconciling monies taken daily.
• Have attention to detail ensuring all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
  As a Receptionist at our Hereford Hospital, you'll bring great communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone. You're flexible, motivated and you show plenty of initiative. You also have basic computer skills, including Word and Excel.

Hereford Hospital | Receptionist | Permanent Contract | Part Time | £25,038 per annum pro rata 14 hours per week consisting of early shifts (6.45am to 1.45pm) and late shifts (1.45pm to 8.45pm) Monday - Friday
