Quantum Care is seeking a Weekend Receptionist to join Furzewood Lodge in South Oxhey, Watford. The 75-bed care home offers a welcoming environment and convenient transport links for staff and residents.

The role provides front of house reception, telephone support, delivery management, invoicing and office upkeep. Strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work alone are essential.

Qualifications

Confident in communicating face to face, via phone and email.

Responsabilités

Reception & telephone support for staff, visitors and callers.
Manage deliveries and ensure items reach the correct recipient.
Process invoices and pass to Home Manager.
Maintain reception areas; keep foyer clean and welcoming.
Organise the post room and stationery cupboard.
Handle outgoing mail and monitor stationery supplies.
Support the Home Manager with additional duties.

We are seeking a Weekend Receptionist to join our newly opened purpose built Care Home Furzewood Lodge in South Oxhey, Watford. The 75 bed modern facility has been thoughtfully designed to provide an excellent working environment and state of the art home for residents. Nestled in the heart of South Oxhey, it offers a welcoming setting with excellent local amenities, green open spaces, and convenient transport links, creating a comfortable and well-connected environment for residents and staff alike.

Responsibilities

Reception & telephone support - delivering a comprehensive front of house service to staff, visitors and callers.
Managing deliveries - ensuring items reach the correct recipient and are not left unattended.
Processing invoices - completing authorisation paperwork and passing it to the Home Manager.
Maintaining reception areas - keeping the foyer and reception clean, tidy and welcoming.
Organising the post room - ensuring the post room and stationery cupboard remain wellâ€'ordered.
Handling outgoing mail - preparing and bagging daily mail for collection.
Monitoring stationery supplies - ordering stock as required.
Supporting the Home Manager - undertaking additional duties aligned with your skills and competencies.
Computer literacy is essential.Previous Experience as a Receptionist preferred

Confident in communicating face to face, via phone and email., An Overseas Police Check/ Certificate of Good Conduct may be required if you have lived or worked outside the UK for 12 Months or more, spent a significant period overseas, or worked abroad in a position of trust. This will be in addition to a mandatory Enhanced DBS check.
