THE PIG-in the Cotswolds is seeking a customer‑facing Receptionist to join the front of house team at Barnsley, GL7 5EE. You will be the first and last face guests see, delivering high standards of service with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include handling incoming calls, emails, and maintaining open communication with all hotel departments. Training is provided and previous similar‑role experience is welcomed. Enjoy staff stays, meals on duty, and a range of employee perks.

About the role

Location: THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, Barnsley, GL7 5EE

Salary: £12.71 per hour (OTE £13.81 per hour, including tronc).

Hours: 35 hours per week

We are currently looking for a customer focused Receptionist to join our front of house team.

The front desk at THE PIG is essentially the hub of the hotel, being the first and last face our restaurant and hotel guests see. First impressions are everything and we want our guests to have the best first impression possible.

As Receptionist you will be a first point of contact for our hotel guests. We are looking for someone who loves to make guests smile every day and has high standards of service and great attention to detail.

Communication is key, as you will be required to answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and maintain constant channels of communication with all departments in the hotel.

Experience within a similar role and knowledge of Opera Fidelio is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
