Job summary

THE PIG - at Bridge Place, Canterbury is seeking a Receptionist to join our front of house team. You will be the first and last face guests see, handling enquiries, check-ins, and coordinating with hotel departments to ensure a warm, seamless stay.

The role emphasizes guest service, attention to detail, and clear communication. Experience in a similar role and knowledge of Opera Fidelio is beneficial but training is provided; hours are 35 per week across four days, with competitive hourly pay

• Knowledge of Opera Fidelio is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

Location: THE PIG - at Bridge Place, Canterbury, CT4 5BH

Salary: £12.71 per hour (OTE £14.01 per hour, including tronc.)

We are currently looking for a customer focused Receptionist to join our front of house team.

The front desk at THE PIG is essentially the hub of the hotel, being the first and last face our restaurant and hotel guests see. First impressions are everything and we want our guests to have the best first impression possible.

As Receptionist you will be a first point of contact for our hotel guests. We are looking for someone who loves to make guests smile every day and has high standards of service and great attention to detail.

Communication is key, as you will be required to answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and maintain constant channels of communication with all departments in the hotel.

Experience within a similar role and knowledge of Opera Fidelio is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
