Job summary

THE PIG is seeking a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team at THE PIG-in the Cotswolds. This role focuses on keeping guest rooms and public areas spotless and ready for guests, with attention to detail and a pride in a job well done.

No prior experience is required; we provide full training. You will work 20 hours over 3 days, including weekends, with benefits such as staff stays, dining discounts, meals on duty, and access to wellbeing and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• No experience is required; willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are valued.
• Good attention to detail and being self-motivated and organised.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms and public areas to the required standard.
• Ensure rooms are ready for our guests and maintained to a high standard.
• Work as part of the housekeeping team to support operations.

About the role

Location: THE PIG-in the Cotswolds, Barnsley, GL7 5EE

Salary: OTE £14.10 per hour, including tronc.

Hours: 20 hours per week, over 3 days (inclusive of weekends with early starts).

We are currently looking for a Room Attendant to join our dedicated housekeeping team.

Some may say the housekeeping team are the backbone of the hotel operation. For our housekeeping team it is not just about making beds, it is about having an eye for detail and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience.

As a member of our housekeeping team, you will take responsibility for ensuring that our rooms and public areas are cleaned to the required standard and are ready for our guests. You will have good attention to detail whilst being self-motivated and organised.

No experience is required, just the willingness to learn and a strong work ethic, taking pride in a job well done.
