Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in WA3, Warrington. This is a full-time, long-term role with an initial 1-week trial in January to ensure the right candidate is matched with the school.

The Role:
  • General classroom support in a Reception setting
  • Supporting pupils on the pathway for SEN diagnoses, helping them access learning and build confidence
  • Assisting with daily classroom routines, group activities, and whole-class support as required
  • Working closely with the class teacher to ensure every child receives the support they need
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have prior experience working in Early Years or with children with SEN
  • Be patient, adaptable, and confident in supporting young learners
  • Be able to work as part of a team, taking direction from teachers and the SENCO
  • Have strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Requirements to join Tradewind:
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
