Job summary

The Education Specialists, in partnership with The Learning Partnership Trust, are recruiting a Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Congleton.

This long-term, part-time role is three days a week, with a focus on high-quality teaching, safeguarding, and pupil progress within a supportive, well-structured environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with UK primary teaching experience.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Proactive and reflective approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS checks via update service, or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs.
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress.
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO and leadership.

The Education Specialists are delighted to be working together with The Learning Partnership Trust, recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Congleton.

This is an along term position, 3 days a week offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching within a supportive and well-structured school environment.

The school has a strong focus on pupil progress and inclusive learning, with a collaborative staff team and a positive learning culture, making it an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking to develop their practice in a supportive setting.

Reception Teacher role requirements:
