Job summary

Monarch Education are recruiting for a Reception Teacher to join a primary school in the B6, Aston area. This is a full-time, long-term position in a supportive Early Years team, delivering engaging EYFS lessons and fostering foundational skills.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have recent Reception/EYFS experience, and demonstrate strong classroom management and communication. This is not an ECT opportunity; a nurturing, child-centred approach is essential.

Reception Teacher

Area: B6, Aston
Hours: Full Time, Monday – Friday
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Start Date: Week commencing before October Half Term
Contract: Long-Term

Monarch Education are working with a primary school in the B6, Aston area to recruit an experienced and dedicated Reception Teacher for a full-time, long-term position.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive Early Years team, delivering engaging and creative lessons that help children develop the skills, confidence, and foundations needed for future learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality teaching in line with the EYFS curriculum, while creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.

The school is seeking a confident and experienced Reception Teacher who can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues and make an immediate impact within the classroom.

What we’re looking for:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within Reception or EYFS
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiencesStrong communication and organisational skills

Please note: The school is looking for an experienced teacher and is not currently considering Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for this position.
