Job summary

Crazy Bear Beaconsfield and Stadhampton is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead reception shifts across both hotels. Based mainly in Beaconsfield, you will support the team, manage guest arrivals and check-ins, and ensure a confident, personal welcome for every guest.

You will travel between Beaconsfield and Stadhampton, supervise the team, and uphold service standards. This full-time role offers progression opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel reception experience.
• Supervisory experience or readiness to take the next step.
• Warm, professional and guest-focused demeanor.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead a shift and keep others focused.
• Experience with payments, bookings and guest concerns.
• Familiarity with property-management systems (Mews, SevenRooms).

Responsibilities

• Lead reception shifts across both hotels.
• Allocate tasks and set priorities for the team.
• Welcome guests and oversee check-ins/check-outs.
• Review arrivals, departures, room allocations and special requests.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready.
• Handle bills, payments, and reception admin.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries.
• Manage bedroom, dining and treatment reservations.
• Make recommendations for rooms and experiences.
• Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Support and train Receptionists.
• Ensure reception procedures and service standards are followed.
• Complete shift handovers, checklists and reports.
