Job summary

Crazy Bear Beaconsfield & Stadhampton is seeking a Reception Supervisor to lead the reception teams across both hotels. Based mainly in Beaconsfield, you’ll also support Stadhampton, ensuring a warm, confident welcome for every guest.

Duties include leading shifts, allocating tasks, overseeing check-ins/outs, coordinating with housekeeping, handling payments and bookings, and maintaining service standards. This full-time role offers 28 days holiday, staff discounts, progression opportunities,

Qualifications

• Previous hotel reception experience.
• Supervisory potential to lead a shift.
• Warm, professional guest manner.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Able to lead a shift and stay focused.
• Confident with payments and bookings.
• Familiar with PMS; Mews or SevenRooms helpful.
• Clear communication in person, on the phone, and by email.
• Willing to travel between Beaconsfield and Stadhampton.
• Flexibility: evenings, weekends, bank holidays.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead reception shifts across both hotels.
• Allocate tasks and set priorities.
• Welcome guests and oversee check-ins/outs.
• Review arrivals, departures, room allocations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping to ready rooms.
• Handle bills, payments, and reception admin.
• Respond to phone and email enquiries.
• Manage reservations for bedrooms, dining, and treatments.
• Give recommendations for rooms and experiences.
• Address guest feedback promptly.
• Support and train Receptionists.
• Ensure procedures and standards are followed.
• Complete shift handovers, checklists, and reports.
• Keep guest information and payments secure.
• Escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Support reception management across properties when needed.
