Job summary

Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is seeking a warm, organised Hotel Receptionist to welcome guests and manage check-ins, check-outs and inquiries across two hotels. You’ll coordinate with housekeeping, restaurants, bars, and other departments to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.

You will handle phone and email inquiries, upsell bedrooms and services, and maintain accurate billing while keeping handovers clear between shifts, with discretion over guest information.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception or customer service is useful.
• Warmth and organisation are essential.
• Right to work in the UK and driving licence with vehicle may be required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check-in administration.
• Show guests to bedrooms and explain facilities.
• Coordinate arrivals and special requests.
• Work with housekeeping, restaurants, bars and other departments.
• Complete check-outs, bills and payments accurately.
• Respond to guest questions and resolve simple problems.
• Answer telephone and email enquiries.
• Manage bedroom and dining reservations.
• Recommend and upsell services.
• Complete daily reports and reception administration.
• Maintain clear handovers between shifts.
• Handle guest information confidentially.
