Job summary

The Midland is seeking a Reception Supervisor to join our Front Office team in the Manchester area. You will work closely with the Front Office Manager to supervise daily operations, mentor colleagues and ensure exceptional guest experiences across our hotel.

As a key ambassador for The Midland and the Leonardo Hotels portfolio, you will uphold company vision, values and service standards while delivering memorable moments for guests and collaborating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Office or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong coaching and training abilities for new team members.
• Proven organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Front Office operations and guest care.
• Assist Front Office Manager in coaching, motivating and developing the team.
• Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction and smooth reception processes.

The Reception Supervisor will support the smooth running and objectives of the Front Office department, as well as supervising day to day operations. You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness. As Reception Supervisor you’ll be the backbone of the team as you’ll be working with the Front Office Manager to inspire and motivate your colleagues, ensuring that all guests have memorable experiences with us.
