The Receiving Specialist plays a crucial role in the smooth functioning of warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, and system booking of incoming shipments. The role requires strong attention to detail, ownership of receiving processes, and seamless collaboration with inventory, quality, and production teams.

About This Role:
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for conformity to purchase orders and quality standards
  • Book received goods into ERP (NetSuite preferred) with accuracy and traceability
  • Flag discrepancies or damages and coordinate with procurement and quality teams
  • Maintain real-time accuracy of physical and digital inventory records
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and assist with audits as needed
  • Proactively identify and flag inventory shortages or overages to planning/procurement
  • Issue parts and materials to production as per work orders
  • Kit assemblies and prepare them for delivery to build stations
  • Operate MHE (e.g., forklifts) to transport and store materials safely
  • Maintain clean, orderly, and well-organized cage and warehouse areas
  • Support layout improvements, FIFO adherence, and warehouse flow optimization
Must Haves:
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or aerospace warehouse environment
  • ERP or MRP system experience (NetSuite preferred)
  • Inventory and warehouse management experience
  • Work order management and kitting experience
  • Familiarity with digital tools used in warehouse or production settings
  • Forklift certification
  • Detail-oriented, safety-focused, proactive, and reliable with a willingness to learn
Nice to Haves:
  • Forklift Class 3 license
  • Exposure to manufacturing planning processes
  • Familiarity with barcode labeling tools
  • Knowledge of Lean 5S, warehouse Kaizen, or continuous improvement
  • Basic understanding of QA/QC protocols for hardware or electronics
  • Familiarity with manufacturing and space-related protocols
  • Understanding of UAE warehouse regulatory norms
