Overview

The Real Estate Solicitor will join a well-established and dynamic legal team, providing expert advice on a broad range of property matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, developments, and investment projects, for a diverse client base across both the private and public sectors.

Role and Responsibilities

The Solicitor will manage their own caseload while contributing to larger, more complex projects as part of a collaborative team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and developments.
  • Supporting and managing investment and development projects, from initial instruction through to completion.
  • Conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating contracts and related documentation.
  • Assisting with regeneration, joint venture, and property finance matters.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas such as corporate, construction, banking, and planning to deliver integrated legal solutions.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and excellent service delivery.
  • Managing files in compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in business development initiatives and contributing to the continued growth of the real estate practice.
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years’ PQE in real estate or commercial property law.
  • Strong technical knowledge and an ability to manage matters independently.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with a proactive and professional approach.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and sound judgement.
  • A team player with the confidence and initiative to support wider departmental objectives.
