Job summary

Apex Group in Jersey is seeking an Assistant Manager in the Real Assets team. You will provide administrative support, manage client relationships, and work with a manager to deliver high-quality services within regulatory deadlines.

You will lead a small team, monitor SLAs, and contribute to onboarding, due diligence, and transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, and refinancing, while ensuring risk is managed in line with Apex policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills are required.
• Understanding Jersey statutory laws and related regulatory requirements.
• Motivated and driven professional with finance background.
• Pursuing CGI qualification or holding CGI certification is expected.
• Prior experience in the finance industry is preferred.
• Ability to mentor and train junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop client relationships as the key contact.
• Engage with third parties, client advisors and intermediaries.
• Support the administration team and monitor SLAs and CSPs.
• Lead and develop junior staff in transactions like property acquisitions/disposals and refinancing.
• Assist with due diligence and client onboarding procedures.
• Monitor WIP and billing in line with fee agreements.
• Review deliverables for quality and manage risk per Apex policies.
