Job summary

Operose Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support primary care delivery. The role offers an annual salary of up to £60,000 FTE depending on experience, with 14 hours a week and must be able to work Tuesdays.

You will take histories, perform clinical assessments, diagnose and treat, and provide nurse leadership within the general practice. The post includes CPD support, annual leave, NMC pin renewal cost coverage, and travel discounts as part of

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice or working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner preferred or ACP status by accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care within the general practice.
• Collaborate with the general practice team to meet patient needs and provide nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate:

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
