Job summary

Operose Health in Leeds is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join The Practice Lincoln Green. The role involves delivering comprehensive primary care with a focus on access, outcomes and patient experience.

You will conduct initial assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans, work with the GP team, and contribute to nurse leadership. A strong emphasis is placed on professional development and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

  • NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice aiming toward non-medical prescriber.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification is essential.
  • Level 7 MSc Practitioner or ACP status preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis and evaluation of care.
  • Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients in general practice.
  • Collaborate with the general practice team, support policy implementation and provide nurse leadership as required.

Hours: 28 (Tuesday 1-6pm, Wednesday 1-6pm, Thursday 8am - 5:30pm and Friday 8am - 5:30pm)

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

  • Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
  • You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
  • You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate:

What we look for in new colleagues:

  • Experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
  • Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
  • It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
