Job summary

Operose Health is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner for The Flying Scotsman Medical Centre in Doncaster. The role offers an annual salary up to £60,000 depending on experience, with a 37.5 hour week and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury/illness qualification essential and ability to maintain standards of care.
• Level 7 MSc practitioner preferred; ACP status accreditation may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care from initial history taking through clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation.
• Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care for general practice patients.
• Collaborate with the practice team and provide nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate:

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
