Job summary

Operose Health in Washwood Heath UTC is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner. The role offers a salary up to £60,000 depending on experience and a 22-hour work week.

You will deliver patient care from history taking through assessment and treatment, and work with the GP team to meet patient needs. Ideal candidates are NMC registered with advanced clinical practice, with minor injury/illness qualifications, and ideally an MSc ACP or nearing non-medical prescriber

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice and working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury/illness qualification is essential; maintain care standards.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner is preferred, ACP status considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patients from history taking to assessment and treatment.
• Demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice.
• Collaborate with the general practice team and provide nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate:

What we look for in new colleagues:

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
