Job summary

Operose Health is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Doncaster practice, The Flying Scotsman Medical Centre. 37.5 hours a week, salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.

37.5 hours per week with a strong focus on delivering high-quality primary care. You will be NMC registered with advanced clinical practice, working towards non-medical prescriber status, and supporting patient access, outcomes and experience in a collaborative team

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with advanced clinical practice progressing to non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and ability to maintain and monitor standards of care.
• Level 7 (MSc) Practitioner preferred; accreditation or MSc towards ACP status considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide care from initial history taking through assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation.
• Demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care within general practice.
• Collaborate with the practice team and provide nurse leadership as required.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
• You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice.
• You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a Primary Care setting.
• NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber.
• Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care
• It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.

Package Description

• Annual salary of up to £60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
