Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Technician in the Willenhall area to perform detailed inspections, servicing and repairs on trailers.

You will ensure compliance documentation is completed accurately and diagnose issues using HALDEX, WABCO and KNORR BREMSE systems. Continued training on tail lifts, BPW/SAF components and axle/brake systems is offered, with a focus on maintaining high safety standards and company values.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles.
• IRTEC accreditation and maintenance training are desirable.
• City & Guilds or NVQs in relevant trades are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections, servicing and repairs on trailers following safety standards.
• Complete compliance documentation accurately.
• Diagnose and resolve issues using HALDEX, WABCO and KNORR BREMSE systems.
• Engage in ongoing training on tail lifts, BPW, SAF and SAF axle/brake components.

Are you an experienced Mobile Trailer Technician seeking a new opportunity within the transportation and logistics sector? Our client, a leading provider in the industry, is currently recruiting for a Mobile Trailer Technician in the Willenhall area. Responsibilities:

• Performing detailed inspections, servicing, and repairs on trailers, adhering to safety and quality standards


• Ensuring accurate completion of all compliance documentation


• Diagnosing and resolving issues utilising systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE


• Participating in ongoing industry and product training, including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW, and SAF axle/brake training


• Following all health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment


• Upholding company values and demonstrating professional behaviours


• Performing additional duties as required or directed by management

Requirements:

• Proven experience with semi-trailers or heavy vehicles


• Industry-standard qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQs


• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 driving licence


• IRTEC accreditation


• Experience with EBS diagnostics, including Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO systems


• Welding certification is desirable


• Training or experience with axle manufacturers like BPW, SAF, or JOST


• Tail lift training and hands-on experience


• Maintenance experience with double-deck or lifting decks
