Job summary

ProFound in the Midlands is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair HGV trucks and trailers across the region. This role offers autonomy, a mobile working pattern, and the chance to support customers at their premises.

You will diagnose faults, perform trailer repairs, and ensure work meets industry safety standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 (or City & Guilds) are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on HGV trucks and trailers.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience with trailer repairs.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGV trucks and trailers
• Diagnose faults quickly and accurately using strong technical and diagnostic skills
• Perform trailer repairs, including brakes, electrics, suspension, and bodywork
• Complete all work to industry standards, ensuring safety and compliance
• Provide mobile support to customers across the Midlands region
• Maintain clear and professional communication with customers and the office team
