Overview

Join to apply for the Mobile HGV Trailer Technician role at TieTalent.

Location: Fradley Park with regional travel. 45 hours per week.

What you will be doing

• Covering breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
• Conducting servicing and preventative maintenance on HGV Trailers both at our Fradley workshop and customers premises.
• Diagnose and repair faults in braking systems, suspension, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, wiring and chassis components.
• Replace and repair worn or damaged components such as wheels, axles and landing legs.
• Work efficiently to ensure vehicles are repaired within agreed timeframes.
• Follow health and safety procedures including wearing the appropriate PPE and ensuring you have carried out the relevant training for all manual handling equipment and use of tools.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working vehicle.

What you will need

• A reliable, safety-first approach.
• Proven experience in Trailer or HGV maintenance (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Excellent knowledge of vehicle legal standards and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Flexibility to travel regionally (on call to cover unexpected breakdowns).
• Ability to adapt to unexpected situations and demonstrate proactive problem solving.
