Job summary

Thurlaston CE (Aided) Primary School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join the team as an LSA One to One, supporting teaching staff and helping to develop learners' educational provision.

You will assist with planning, delivering lessons, preparing resources, and providing pastoral support, while contributing to monitoring progress and feedback to teachers to ensure all pupils' needs are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths.
• Teaching Assistant qualification desirable.
• Experience supporting lessons to achieve positive learning outcomes.
• Good written and verbal communication with staff.
• Empathetic and patient with students.

Job overview

You’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure learning needs are being met.

Job requirements
