Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is supporting a welcoming primary school in Thornbury to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time temporary basis. The role involves supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, working alongside teachers to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in a primary setting, be confident travelling to the school Monday to Friday, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children within a primary school or similar educational setting.
• Experience working with pupils across KS1 and KS2.
• Understanding of supporting pupils with different learning needs.
• Ability to drive and travel reliably to the school.

Salary: £14.25 - £15.50 per hour

The school is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time temporary basis, working Monday to Friday across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Learning Support Assistant will support pupils with their learning and development, work alongside classroom teachers and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children within a primary school or similar educational setting
• Experience working with pupils across KS1 and KS2
• A good understanding of supporting pupils with different learning needs
• The ability to drive and travel reliably to the school
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, patient and positive approach to supporting children
