Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a skilled Vehicle Technician for a Stockton-based family-run franchise dealership. You will join a small, friendly team and work across multiple franchise brands, with a focus on servicing, diagnostics and high-quality repairs.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have workshop experience, hold a full UK driving licence, and possess strong diagnostic and teamwork skills. MOT licence is desirable.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience in a main dealer or independent garage.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT licence desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Able to work well in a team and maintain high quality work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and resolve faults.
• Complete all associated documentation accurately.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and quality standards as a Vehicle Technician.
• Guide and support junior team members when necessary.
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment to a high standard.
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned work.

• Basic salary of up to £38,000
• OTE of up to £42,000
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, with optional weekend work
