- - Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report on vehicle conditions, including safety, reliability, and performance
- - Adhere strictly to quality procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- - Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy franchise environment
- - Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and sharing technical expertise
- - Assist in vehicle inspections, MOT testing (if qualified), and service-related tasks
- - Report complex issues to the Service Manager, providing detailed diagnostics reports
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
- - Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- - At least one to two years of post-qualification experience
- - Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- - Motivated, committed, and a team player
- - Ability to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- - Experience with vehicle electronics, diagnosis, or light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential
- - An active MOT Smart Card and relevant diagnosis experience are preferred
