Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Site-Based Cleaning Operative for the National Probation Service site in Middlesbrough. This part-time role covers 6 hours per week with flexible Saturday/Sunday shifts for the right candidate, at a rate of £12.71 per hour.

Training and uniform are provided to help you perform effectively. You will undertake scheduled cleaning tasks, deep cleans as needed, and ensure kitchens, toilets, and common areas are pristine.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is desirable; training and uniform provided.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed.
• Be a team player and take instruction.
• Must be over 18 with valid ID.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor.
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, are cleaned and presentable.
• Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps.
• Work closely with the security team, reporting faults or hazards while helping maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain an approachable attitude while performing duties.

In this role, you'll play akey part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, andcomfort of the residents and staff at each site.

ApprovedPremises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison,offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within thecommunity.This role will give you insight into working in a residentialsetting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work thatsupports positive change.

What you’ll do:

What you bring:

• Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!
