Job summary

Working with Sodexo seeks a Site-Based Cleaning Operative for a National Probationary Service site. You will maintain cleanliness across the site, supporting residents and staff, with training provided in health and safety.

The role offers early morning/evening shifts on weekends and a competitive hourly rate of £12.71. You will replenish consumables, work with security to keep areas safe, and contribute to a hygienic community setting in a residential context.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Health and safety awareness is important.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks with attention to detail.
• Periodically deep clean areas as instructed by supervisor.
• Clean kitchens, toilets and communal areas; ensure presentable conditions.
• Replenish stock and consumables (toilet tissue, hand soaps).
• Work closely with security team; report faults or hazards.
• Training provided; follow health and safety guidelines.

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Cleaning Operative to join our team at National Probationary Service, Cuthbert House AP, Derwent Water Road, Bensham, N In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, andcomfort of the residents and staff at each site. ApprovedPremises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison,offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within thecommunity.This role will give you insight into working in a residentialsetting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work thatsupports positive change. What you'll do:

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal areas are cleaned and are presentable
• Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
• You'll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards..whilst also helping maintain the cleanliness of theirareas too!
• This role requires you to have an approachableattitude
  Cleaning experience is desirable however training and uniform will be provided, Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!

• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
• Be a team player and take instruction
  Saturday/Sunday- early morning/ evening can be flexible for right candidate
