Job summary

Workingwith Sodexo seeks a Site-Based Cleaning Operative at Nelson House, 1 Oxford Street, South Bank, Middlesbrough, Middlesbrough. You will maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site, supporting residents and staff in a residential setting with vulnerable individuals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is desirable; training in health and safety will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor.
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets and communal areas, are cleaned and presentable.
• Replenishing stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps.
• You’ll work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards and helping maintain their areas.
• Be a team player and take instruction; able to adapt to different shifts.

In this role, you'll play akey part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across thesite. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, andcomfort of the residents and staff at each site. ApprovedPremises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison,offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within thecommunity.This role will give you insight into working in a residentialsetting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work thatsupports positive change. What you'll do:

• This role requires you to have an approachableattitude Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of cleaning solutions and their uses is desirable, but not essential- our great training will ensure you are fully trained in all areas of health and safety!

• Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
• Be a team player and take instruction 6 hours per week
• Saturday and Sunday/early morning/ evening can be flexible for right candidate
• £12.71 per hour
