Job summary

Priorslee House Care Home, part of Care Concern Group Limited, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to help deliver high quality meals in a clean, safe kitchen. You will support preparation, stocking and deliveries, and work with the Chef and team to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

Priorslee House Care Home is a care home located in Telford, Shropshire. • Contracted to 36 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
• Shifts 08:00 - 18:30pm work every other weekend

Role Overview

As Kitchen Assistant, you will support the delivery of high quality meals within a clean, safe and well organised kitchen environment. This is a hands on role where your contribution helps ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to a high standard.

You will support food preparation, maintain cleanliness across the kitchen and assist with deliveries, storage and stock organisation. Working closely with the Chef and wider team, you will help ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and safely at all times.

This role offers a consistent routine and the opportunity to build or develop your experience within a supportive and well organised kitchen environment.
