Job summary

Teaching Vacancies is seeking candidates to provide lunchtime supervision in a school setting. The role focuses on delivering a safe, calm dining experience for pupils and supporting children during lunchtime in the dining hall and on the playground.

The successful candidate will work with school staff, building rapport with children, and adhering to safeguarding guidance to ensure a positive lunchtime experience for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Ability to build rapport with children during lunchtime provision.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Ability to lift and move tables and chairs as part of setup/clear-down.
• Ability to liaise with school staff in writing and verbally.
• Physically able to perform lunchtime duties including moving furniture.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for exceptional candidates who:

• Will be responsible for a safe and calm dining experience
• Will be able to build a rapport with children
• Will be able to support children during their lunchtime provision both in the dining room and on the playground.
• Will be able to liaise both written and verbally with other school staff
• Will be physically able to lift and move tables and chairs as part of the setup and clear-down for lunchtime.
