Job summary

Chichester College Group, Brinsbury Campus, is seeking a part-time Horticulture Resource Coordinator to manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources and support curriculum delivery on-site.

You will lead practical sessions, ensure health and safety compliance, supervise apprentices, and manage stock, budgets and orders while contributing to sustainability goals.

Qualifications

  • Relevant horticultural industry experience.
  • A Level 2 qualification in Horticulture (or equivalent).
  • Experience supervising groups and supporting learners.
  • Knowledge of horticultural health and safety legislation.
  • Practical experience of machinery operation and horticultural practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day horticultural and glasshouse resources.
  • Support staff and students during practical and theory sessions.
  • Take ownership of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and compliance.
  • Supervise apprentices and student workers, where required.
  • Manage stock control, ordering and resource budgets.

Key Responsibilities

What you will bring to the role
